I will never forget this Saturday 22 of January 2011. I prepared 4 offers to purchase for 3 different clients at this same day. This is my personal record within 15 years in Costa Rica. It never happened to me, not even when business was at the peak of the boom between 2005-07. Oh Man does that feel good, after all. Very Motivating. Puuura Vida.

Fiestas Tipicas

January 18, 2011

The dry season has arrived, and in our canton of Santa Cruz this marks the beginning of the “Fiestas” in many of our local towns.  One of the largest and most well know in the country are the “Fiestas Tipicas Nacionales”, held in Santa Cruz, and declared this name by the President Daniel Oduber in 1974. In Santa Cruz you´ll find Guanacasten style bull rides, marimbas on almost every corner, traditional foods, parades of oxen, horses, bulls and folklore presentations. The people of Santa Cruz are proud of their traditions and not only demonstrate this during the Fiestas but always, in an attempt to keep their ancestors traditions alive. Reason why Santa Cruz is known as the “Folkloric City of Costa Rica”.
